activation not working

  I’ve been trying to activate my account all day today. I had the email resend, then I clicked on the link and it appeared to work, but then i went back to the wordpress dashboard or whatever and it told me I needed to confirm my email. So I resent it again and clicked. Same result. I resent it one more time and clicked the link and my account still hasn’t been activated yet.
