Active users remain "waiting" in "date accepted" column

  I have been trying to add authors in my blog but even though they have registered in wordpress and click accept to my invitations to become author, their status remain “waiting” in the “date accepted” column.

  Could you please help me with this.

  Hi Jutta! Can you please tell me a specific user that is having this problem?

  We do have a bug with our invitation system. If they are not logged into their WordPress.com account when they click on the confirmation link in the email, it will not work. So make sure that after they create their WordPress.com accounts, they go back and click on the acceptance link for your invitation.
