Add a slider to the front page only

  Hello,
  I would like to add a slider to my front page only. I am using the Interpol theme which only allows me to do that by adding the slider to the header (is the only option I have figured out, maybe there is another option.)
  I would like the slider to appear only in the front page not in the other pages but I have not figured out how. I already have a child theme.

  Which website are you referring to? https://ibarrameadedesign.wordpress.com/ has the Twenty Thirteen theme applied and apparently no content.

  The Interpol theme is not available for WordPress.com sites. This forum is solely for issues regarding WordPress.com websites and accounts.
