Add code to HEAD section

  Hi,

  I look after our village hall website which is hosted on WordPress.com. We want to add a ‘Donate’ button, but the system we’ve signed up to (Givey), needs us to add a code snippet to the HEAD section.

  We’re using the Colinear theme (if that makes a difference). I can’t find anywhere to add code to the HEAD section. I’ve admin’ed loads of sites over the years (though I think this is my first on wordpress.com) and never *not* had access to the HEAD code.

  Is it possible? Or are we going to have to find a donation platform that doesn’t need access to the HEAD tag?

  Hi there, I took a look at the Givey FAQ on adding a donation button https://support.givey.com/en/articles/765039-adding-a-donate-button-to-your-website but scripts like they show there can’t be added to free, Personal or Premium WordPress.com websites for security reasons. https://wordpress.com/support/code/#javascript

  You might want to ask Givey support if they have a “no script” alternative for sites hosted on WordPress.com
