    ADD MEDIA – ADD DOCUMENTS – THE DOCUMENTS UPLOADED DON’T ‘SHOW’ WHAT THEY ARE IN THE ‘MEDIA’ PAGE – AND DO NOT UPLOAD TO THE MENU ‘PAGE’ I WANT THE DOCUMENT INSERTED INTO. FRANKLY IT’S BEEN DIFFICULT TO FIGURE OUT HOW WORDPRESS WORKS – ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU AREN’T USER FRIENDLY AND YOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT DOESN’T EXIST. WHILE I’D LIKE TO UPGRADE TO A PAID SITE – I CAN’T EVEN GET THE FREE VERSION TO WORK. I DON’T HAVE ‘TIME’ TO TAKE A MAJOR COURSE ON HOW TO USE WORDPRESS AND CAN’T SEEM TO GET TO A LIVE CHAT FOR IMMEDIATE HELP.

    Please switch off CAPS LOCK on your computer. Typing your question in all caps makes it very difficult for us to read it.

    I don’t understand what you’re saying. To add a document to a post or page, you do it directly from the editor. Edit the page, and add a File Block. Then select the option in the block to either upload a file from your computer or insert one that’s already in the media library.

    The document will appear in the post/page as a downloadable link.

    Share or Embed Downloadable Files

    If you want the actual document to appear in your page, you instead need to use a service like Google Docs to embed it, rather than uploading it to the media library.
