"Add Media" to post: Upload Error
-
The new “Add Media” method of inserting photos into a blog post is giving me trouble (when I try to upload an image from my harddrive).
I get the Error message: “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”
I have tried on three separate days between reboots of my computer. I think this must be a systemic issue. The old method of inserting images never gave me any trouble.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What browser and version are you using? How much room is left in your media Library? Does it happen no matter what image you upload?
-
I’m using Google Chrome.
I have 44 items in my media library; I don’t see any indication of the existing size of the library. What is the limit?
It happens no matter what image I try to upload.Thank you so much for your consideration.

I’m trying to locate the information about the version of wordpress I’m using. I am not using Premium.

There IS no such information if you’re using WP.com. It’s a special version customized for use here and doesn’t have a version number the way WP.org blogs do.
When you look at the Media Library from the dashboard you can see the amount of space left just below the title http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/
But 44 images shouldn’t fill your 3 gigabytes of storage!
