  I would like to add a recipe plug in where all my recipes go as well as a pricing page where I list my services and prices. How do I do this? Thanks in advance.

  Sounds to me like you want a separate page that collects your recipes. You can do that easily by creating a category “Recipe” and tagging each recipe post with “recipe”. You can then use a Custom Menu with that Category in it. Whenever anyone clicks on the Recipe Category, that will bring up a dynamically created page with all the posts in the Recipe category.   As far as a services pricing page, I’m not sure what kinds of information you are looking to create on it, but you can surely do this by using a Page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
