  What is the domain, please?

  If it’s a domain already registered with WordPress.com through a different username, you’ll first need to add this username as an admin on the site currently connected to that domain. Then you can follow the steps here:

  If it’s a domain registered with another provider, you’ll first need to upgrade your WordPress.com site to one of our paid plans. Then you can follow these steps to transfer the domain registration to WordPress.com:
