ADDING A LINK FROM ONE PAGE TO ANOTHER PAGE IN MY WEBSITE – QUESTION
-
Apologies if this description appears simplistic – I’m trying to ensure I cover each point clearly.
When I am working on a web page’s contents I’m (obviously) using admin access. I note that each page I look at has a web address which includes “wp-admin”.
At the moment I’m creating a series of four pages which are all drafted but not yet published. Some of them will need a link to our Contact Page. .
I have added an appropriate button with text on the first page and now have to add the link to the Contact Page.
My first thought was to simply go to the Contact Page (while I am still using admin access) and copy the Contact Page address – then return to the first page and paste that address into the link.
My problem is that the copied address for the Contact Page includes (for obvious reasons) “wp-admin” within it.
It occurs to me that this link will not work for an online visitor (who has no connection to admin access).
How do I add the “correct” link for the Contact Page?
Am I making this too difficult? Do I have the wrong end of the stick? I really do only have a very rudimentary ability with WordPress. Age and decline are taking their toll. Any advice is appreciated.
