Adding a RSS feed to my website
-
I need to add my wordpress blog RSS feed to my website that is powered by Go Daddy. I talked to Go Daddy tech support and they said their blog app does not support https:// url’s, and I have to remove https:// from my blog feed url so I can post it to my website.
How do I do this?? Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. Your blog’s feed can be found here: http://satheafoundation.wordpress.com/feed/
That URL should work with GoDaddy.
You can read more about WordPress.com feeds here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/feeds/

I know your blog is https. All WordPress.com URLs are, and we can’t change that. Did you try using the feed URL with just http, though?
I’ll tag this for staff to follow up in case there’s anything they can do to help, but my guess is this is something GoDaddy will need to fix on their side.

Hi there,
All WordPress.com blogs using the free *.wordpress.com address use HTTPS, so the URL for their RSS feeds begin with https:// (rather than http://). There isn’t a way to change that here at WordPress.com, so if GoDaddy’s app doesn’t support https:// URLs you won’t be able to add the RSS feed from a WordPress.com site to their app.
However, you could try creating a feed with an http:// URL from your WordPress.com feed, using a third-party service. (WordPress.com doesn’t support third-party services like that, but I’ve personally used Google FeedBurner before.) You can put your WordPress.com feed into a service like that and get a new URL for your feed — as long as the service offers their feeds over HTTP (starting with http://) it should work with apps that don’t support HTTPS.
