Adding a search this site

  When I try an add a plugins and search for – search this site or search I am unable to find the basic search option show on your guide.

  I want to add a search button to the top corner

  Hi Mary –

  Go to My Sites – Customize – Widgets – Search Bar – Add Widget

  That sequence will drop the widget in to the designated space for the theme that you are using.
