Adding a second author

  Hello – I noticed that the option for author is limited to ‘nicolemichelle’ – that’s me, however I would like to change how my name is displayed and to add a second author name to choose from.

  Hi there!

  The easiest would be to create a second WordPress.com account using a different email address, adding that account as an author/administrator (whichever you prefer), and when publishing, choosing that account.

  This guide will explain how you can invite other contributors to work on your website with you using the Users area of your WordPress.com dashboard. Instead of giving someone your username and password (which would be a security risk), you can invite them to create their own user account on your site and grant different levels of permission depending on what you want the person to be able to do

  You would click the invitation link in your email on a different browser so that it doesn’t cause issues. If you’re already logged into an account when accepting the invite, it will not work as expected. Using a different browser is recommended for this reason.
