Adding a theme

I would like to buy the wordpress High End Theme (http://hb-themes.com/themes/highend/) but want to make sure I can use it with my site. I’m assuming so, but wanted to check. It seems like in order to do that I might have to upgrade to a premium account but since it’s a word press theme, I’m wondering if I can keep my free account? Thank you!

Don’t buy that theme unless you’re intending to move and set up a WordPress.org site. Upgrading your account won’t make any difference. The only themes (free or premium) you can activate here at WordPress.com are these. There could well be one with similar features to the theme you were interested in:-
