adding an email list to users

  is there a way to upload an email list to the users so i can mail them

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No –

  Pre-loading an email list is a favorite Spam tactic so WordPress.COM and many others no longer allow you to load an email list but require people to subscribe for themselves.

  I suggest you post a contact form that states that those visitors who want to be included on such an email list use the form to state their agreement. Also be aware that in Canada where I live if any blogger uses the email address I use to submit comments with for any other reason without my permission that’s against the law. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

  i have been using contact forms , and people have been filling them in but then i have to manually create a user with there details one by one

  When you create a form for them to fill out…then what? Does it go into comments or a new list, I haven’t done it yet, not sure how it all works. And when people subscribe by email, does it send them all your posts each day????

  @mckinnonwendy : The answer to both questions is “it depends on the option chosen”.

  You can direct your feedback form results to your mailbox or see them under Feedbacks from your dashboard. And your subscribers can choose to receive notifications instantly, daily, weekly or never.

  Please see here for instructions for how to enable blog subscriptions. When you read the information provided I believe your questions will be answered. Your subscribers can choose how often they wish to receive updates of the post you publish.
