Adding an owned domain

  Can I not use my own domain that I already own with the Personal Plan? It seems like I will be forced to use the Premium Plan.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You will need to set up Domain Mapping to use your domain with your WordPress.com site:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Domain Mapping is included with all of the WordPress.com Plans including the Personal plan:

  Thank you for the response. I tried that before I posted my original question. Once I go through the steps that you suggested it tells me to buy the Premium Plan. Is this just an upsell technique so people will unwillingly buy it not knowing that it will also work with the Personal Plan?

  …and purchasing the Personal plan for your site, and then setting up Domain Mapping using these instructions:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
