Adding Analytics to Text box

  Howdy, we are trying to add Google Analytics tracking code in the widget Text box. The text box widget indicates that we can add text or HTML. However when we add the tracking code to the text box, all the HTML elements are stripped. Please help!

  At this time, we can’t allow the type of code that Analytics requires for security reasons, but we do have our own built-in stats system: http://wordpress.com/#!/my-stats/

  Were there any particular features from Analytics that you were missing?
