adding and Excel spread sheet

  I already have severel Excel nd Word files which can be accessed readily in my Blog but I have great difficulty in adding a new file.. I call up the file from by documents and it appears ready to down load. I select “attach”” but immedaitely that section of the page is partally blanked out and no attachnment is made. I am an old guy but can usually work things out but not this. I need help Thanks Kiwi Bob
