    Hello,

I recently created a new page, however it cannot be viewed as an option on my menu navigation just like my about me contact and blog. How can I make my Video tab available for viewers to be able to click? Thank you!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

Your menu presently has a “Videos” item which links to a page with videos in it titled “Videos.” I’m guessing that you’ve resolved the issue. Have you?

Yes I have! Thank you for your quick response! I also wanted to ask if there’s a way of better placing my blogs instead of readers having to keep ceiling down maybe have a preview of each and then an option of “read more” that they can click?

    You’re welcome.

Yes, there are options which allow excerpts of a post with a “read more” link on the posts page. Some themes are designed to behave this way by default. I was unable to find a list of such themes filtered from the Themes Showcase. For a theme which doesn’t have this feature you may use more tags, which will truncate the portion of the post content displayed on the posts page at the point at which you place the tag. See the More Tag support page.

    Hello,

how can I add photos for each tab under the photos but for them only to be seen under the appropriate tab and not all be seen in .every tab?

The “sub items” under the “Photos” item don’t link to anything. In order to display images associated with each of those sub items, you might want to create child pages of the photos page. Their URLs might look like this:

      etc.

The Page Options support page contains vague indications as to how to create parent/child relationships between pages. I hope WordPress.com has a better support page on this topic somewhere, but I’ve been unable to find it. I’ve never created child pages in the new editor, so I’m not going to try to explain how it’s done. In the wp admin page editor it’s done very simply in the Page Attributes module. Let me know if you’d like instructions for the latter.

The parent “Photos” item doesn’t need to link to anything. You can obtain this result by creating it as a custom link. I’ve only created menus in the WP Admin menus page, so I don’t know how custom link menu items are created at My Sites. At the wp admin menus page, https://kimgoinglobal.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php, you would simply create a menu item using the “custom links” tool in the left sidebar, assigning the navigation label “Photos.” You may either have it link to the page, https://kimgoinglobal.wordpress.com/photos/, or to nothing (by removing the URL after the menu item is created).
