This kind of error occured twice with my blog tooo.
Problem was image size was too long.
so try to upload some other pictures may it resolve your problem.

I haven´t figured out, how to upload pics. the same problem my pics are not bigger than 1-2 Kb. so that can´t be the problem.

tried to upload pictures and make a gallery, or to attach a pic to an article. didnt work. -
Thanks for the link. Now, could you be more specific about the failure? Tell us exactly what happened and what you saw or didn’t see.

hm, i think the upload works, i can find the pictures in my multimedia archive, but they don´t appear on the website, neither with the articles to which i attached them nor to the site “gallery”.

No. You can readily upload and insert pictures via the Add an Image button of the post editor.
(When you click that button, you’ll see a list of allowed file types: you only need the space upgrade for uploading video and audio files.)
-
And please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We usually need that to give a relevant answer.

I have a picture inserted on the right side of my post. I am then trying to ad text on the left side of the picture. Each time I hit enter, the picture also moves down an space. How can I keep the pic in one place and type around it?
-
The easiest way is to switch to the HTML tab, then put your cursor before the HTML code for the image, and type a few words. Then you can switch back to the visual editor and place your cursor at the end of the text you started and continue typing. Sometimes the editor is a little finicky.
I always type a few words first, then insert the image and then continue with my typing. It makes it much easier.
