Hi there,
Could you please tell us the address of the site you need help with?
Custom DNS records are only available if you already added a custom domain to your blog.
Here is a manual how to add DNS records:
https://wordpress.com/support/domains/custom-dns/If you have more questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Hi,
I did find this page, but I cannot locate the DNS records section, or in fact anything to do with domains.
Can you assist with this?
The website is hoploncyber.com
It was initially registered with Godaddy.com then switched over to WordPress.
Cheers

Hello there,
Thank you for confirming your site. It looks like your website is using the WordPress.org open-source software and is being hosted elsewhere not here on WordPress.com. Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two separate entities staff here cannot access your files and many of the volunteering folks here do not have much experience with WordPress.org.
For help with a WordPress site hosted elsewhere you’ll need to ask in the WordPress.org forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ . The forum you are posting on is intended for supporting free sites hosted here at WordPress.com.You can find more information about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
Your WebHost support might also be able to help you with the DNS settings and editing.

Hi there,
I better add staff to this case, because:
Registrar and name servers are WordPress.com as I can see here: https://www.whois.com/whois/hoploncyber.com
But actual host is Google Cloud: https://hostingchecker.com/
DNS records can be added on Google Console, but then name servers here on WordPress.com shall be amended to Google nameservers. As long as nameservers are still ns1.wordpress.com, I believe there is something only staff can comment on. -
Hi there,
The domain, hoploncyber.com, is registered with us, but the
jftix15130account you used to post here is not the owner of that domain. That is why you’re not able to find the settings for this in your dashboard. To make changes to the domain’s DNS, you’ll need to first log into the account that owns the domain. If you don’t remember the login details for the correct account, please follow our account recovery process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ so we can help you regain access.
Once you’re in the correct account, you can find instructions on how to modify your DNS records here:
https://wordpress.com/support/domains/custom-dns/
@therefoiam,
The OP did not ask a question related to the open source WordPress software. They asked for help with their domain. Please do not send people to the WordPress.org forums for issues that have nothing to do with the open source WordPress software.
The domain’s name servers point to WordPress.com, which means we control the domain’s DNS. The domain is just pointed to Google using an A record.
There is a difference between who is hosting the website on a particular domain, and who is hosting the domain’s DNS records. For the latter you always look at the name servers only.
