Adding URL links to images contained within a gallery sidebar widget

    Dear WordPress Support,

    I’ve added a gallery widget to my sidebar, but I’m unable to assign URL links to the images within the gallery. Is there a way to do this in the sidebar gallery? I am able to assign URL’s to the images within the gallery on my pages, just not in the sidebar.

    Hi Alexandra,

    With the gallery widget, you can have the images link to an image carousel, the image’s attachment page, or the image media file. There isn’t a way to have those images link to a different, specific URL instead. We have more about the settings for that widget here: Gallery Widget
