Additional widgets?

Hey y’all!
Was wondering if other widgets than the ones listed could be added to our sites? For example, theres a site I visit that two features I’d love to use… one is a simple display for all the likes that I get when my articles publish on facebook (I currently only see shares) and the other is a widget Ive seen that posts related articles at the bottom of the page, based on the tags I used… appreciate any help I might get here! ;)

If you have a facebook page, you can add the facebook like box to a widget area. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-integration/#facebook-like-box
As far as related content, on WordPress.com we can enable Zemanta for our posts, but you will need to select and add the articles that you feel add value for your visitors.
