Adjusting the parameters of an embedded video

I don’t know if this is even possible with a wordpress.com blog, but what I’d like to do is embed a video on my home page where everything but the video content itself is hidden (i.e. borders, play button, status bar, etc.) and have it auto play. The idea here is that I’ll edit some video of my band playing/talking on a green screen and match the background color to the page’s background color and hopefully end up with the effect that we just start playing right on the page as soon as it loads. If I have to upgrade or do something differently, that’s okay, I just don’t know how to make this happen…
