admin bar notifications not working

  In my admin bar, the notifications (the bell icon) no longer works. When I click on it, the timer icon (round and round) continues, but notifications never load. I have used this avenue for reading and responding, but it has not worked for several days now.

  Hi there,

  Check if clearing your browser cache makes any difference. Also try disabling any browser add-ons you have installed. If that works, it means one of your add-ons is likely preventing the notifications from loading.

  Let us know if none of that helps.

  Does it work if you log into your account in an incognito browser tab or in a different browser? What browser, including version number, are you using?

  It is finally working. I did a more thorough cleaning of my browser. Thank you.
  FYI,
  Google Chrome is up to date
  Version 84.0.4147.135 (Official Build) (64-bit)
