Admin Email Change

How long does it take for the email to be generated in order to change the admin email address? I submitted the change on Saturday, but have not gotten a confirmation email at the new address to verify. We are at a standstill to update our site because of this.

The confirmation email is sent out immediately once you request an email address change from your account settings at https://wordpress.com/me/account/
But I don’t see any email update requests for your WordPress.com account. Where exactly did you change the email address?
If you’re speaking of the admin email address for your self-hosted site at vachellindsay.org, we cannot help with this. We have no control over your login details for that site, and emails for that site is not sent from us, but from your hosting provider’s servers.
If you’re not receiving emails for that site, please ask for help in the self-hosted WordPress forums instead, at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

The link you provide takes me to the profile page, which is set up properly with the correct email.
The page at issue is the web address plus the following: -admin/options-general.php On this page, (General Settings) there is a place to enter the email address for admin rights. At present, this email is the person who originally set up the webpage. I have contacted the email and no emails are being sent to him to confirm an email change.
I have tried to change the email address (I need to have the proper admin email to finish the process of installing a new SSL certificate). When I put in the new address, it tells me that a confirmation email will be sent to the address. An email has not been sent since I first changed it on Saturday. Obviously, there is a problem. Under the old email it says that an email address change is pending.
Please help.

That is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.

Can’t say that I’m impressed by how much run around this method of customer service creates. Five days later and I’m really no closer to solving the problem.

I apologize for the run-around, but as mentioned we are an entirely separate entity from the WordPress software you’re using, so we won’t be able to help you with this.
