Admin email for new site directs me to old hacked site upon login
-
To explain, several months ago I created a wordpress account and website using the email (email visible only to moderators and staff). Shortly after beginning to build my first website (bennettvanpeltmusic.com), the website went down/was hacked.
I have since bought a new domain through a separate hosting site for wordpress at bennettvanpeltproduction.com using the same email. While I can access the backend of WordPress by using that link with the ‘/wp-admin’ extension, every time I try to log in to my account from a login page, I am directed to the profile that my old website exists under.
WP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
bennettvanpeltproduction.com is not hosted with WordPress.com, but instead Siteground so we are unable to help with this site.
From what you’re saying, it sounds like the site has been compromised and we would recommend reaching out to Siteground support as per: https://www.siteground.co.uk/tutorials/getting-started/getting-help-from-our-support-team/
They may be able to scan the site for anything undesired.

Thanks for the reply! I will look into contacting support for siteground for further help on that end.
To clarify, my first iteration of my website (bennettvanpeltmusic.com) was created using neither WordPress or SiteGround as a hosting platform. Seeing as though I used the same email for that account via WordPress login as I currently do with my SiteGround-hosted bennettvanpeltproduction.com, I was curious as to why the ‘My websites’ section after the WordPress login only shows the old iteration as an existing website on my WordPress account.
Again, I will reach out to siteground but feel free to let me know if this information changes anything.
Thanks again for the help!

>It appears you had started a free WordPress.com site with us (bennettvanpeltmusic.wordpress.com) around the same time that you started your site on SiteGround? We are not connected with that company (we are both providers of WordPress sites) so it is possible that you started both sites at the same time.
The reason you can see that site under your WordPress.com login is because you have installed (or you host may have installed for you) the Jetpack plugin, which is a plugin that adds our cloud-based services to WordPresss sites you have with other providers.
However, for assistance with bennettvanpeltmusic.com itself, you will need to go to your hosting provider as @aleone89 has correctly indicated. I don’t think the site is hacked however, I see the domain is suspended with a “verification-hold” which is something we see when a new domain is not verified. You can sort this out with your domain provider directly. https://gwhois.org/bennettvanpeltmusic.com+dns
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
