Admin Page is redirecting to the Edit User Profile

  My Admin webpage (wp-admin) is automatically redirecting the page to the edit user profile (config/php) instead of the main dashboard screen (index.php).
  I would like to have the dashboard as the default page when signing as admin.
  Please advise,
