Admin Toolbar hidden

  I have read documentation for two days now and don’t understand what to do. My admin toolbar is hidden on the back end. It only allows me to view my profile and recent activity. I have checked the appropriate boxes in the my profile section.

  Are you referring to a WordPress.com site? If so, what is its address (URL)?

  Yes, it is a wordpress site.
