Administrative email change on -wp-admin

I have tried and tried and tried to update my administrative email address on my website admin page with NO success. I’ve even spoken with support people who said they would make the change and it STILL shows up with an email that is no longer valid. I CANNOT get the site to change the email address to my current email. I’m supposed to get notices and information from Word Press via that email address. It’s next to impossible to even find a link to a support person I can talk to about this. WHO do I contact????? I thought THIS was a support site, but just now realized it is a forum, not somebody from Word Press.
