ads on my blog

    I signed up so that when I post a new entry to my wordpress blog, it posts to my facebook as well. Now I see that if you go to my blog from facebook, there’s an advertisement at the end of my post (quite a large one). This doesn’t happen when people go to my blog directly. Is this usual? I was not told that this would happen when I was encouraged to sign up for this feature. If it is I think people should be warned that facebook will be throwing ads up on their blog.

    To support the service (and keep free features free), we sometimes run advertisements, and the agreement for this has been in our terms of service since 2006.

    The ads are displayed at random, so seeing them through Facebook is just a coincidence in this case.
