Ads question
-
What do you mean exactly by “manage your own WordPress installation” in the permission to include ads?
My blog is self hosted and I want to include banners on it. Is it allowed to me to edit the html part of the page to include banners?
If not, what can I do to use my host (I’m happy with the service they provided to me for nearly 10 years), not having to change to BlueHost, HostGator or others to be able to include Amazon ads?
Thanks for your attention.

If you’re referring to http://blog.gui.pro.br/ the blog is still hosted here. It just has domain mapping and is not self-hosted.
We do have an advertising program called WordAds, which you read more about at http://wordads.co/
Advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed. For full details, please see:
http://support.wordpress.com/advertising/
http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
Please see this link to learn about the differences:

Thank you very much!
I was confused about self hosting.
Just one more question, if I stay for a while at WordPress.com and in the future, when I have some trafic to help monetize my site, I choose to change to WordPress.org at my host, will it be difficult to move all the content?
Thank you again. -
You can certainly move at any time.
If you’re interested, we do offer an upgrade called Guided Transfer (available in the Store section of your blog’s Dashboard) where we take care of everything for you: http://en.support.wordpress.com/guided-transfer/
Otherwise, you’ll need to install WordPress from http://wordpress.org/ on a hosting provider. We have some recommendations at http://get.wp.com/hosting/
Once that’s done, you can move your content following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/WordPress.org has complete support and documentation sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress at:
http://wordpress.org/support/
http://codex.wordpress.org/We do offer yearly and one-time premium support packages for self-hosted WordPress sites through our VIP program, available at http://vip.wordpress.com
