AdSense use on WordPress from other bloggers

Hello I would like to place ad on my blog from Adchoice for Daley music. is it ok for me to do so. I have an adsense acct. I read that you do not allow Adsense on you blog, bit a fellow blogger that usees WordPress has AdSense on their blog.

It might be that the other blogger with AdSense on their blog have a self-hosted WordPress.org site. To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
