Adult content ads on educational website – how do I exclude them?

    Hello, I am using the free version of WordPress for an educational website.
    This means that children and teachers are using the site.
    I have received complaints that indecent ads are being shown on the site.
    Can you please help with excluding that category from the ads?
    I understand you must show ads so I can use the free version, but please, no adult content on an educational site.

    Hi,

    There should never be “adult content” ads on WordPress.com. We do not allow those types of ads on our platform.

    From time to time a bad ad will slip through and can be reported to use using the instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/about-these-ads/

    More commonly, people see ads such as these due to malware on their own computers/browsers that have taken over and replaced the advertising on webpages. If you are not seeing these ads yourself, but are hearing reports, you might encourage those reporting to make sure their computer system is clean.
