Adult Content on WordPress?

Hello! I saw that adult content was not allowed on WordPress, but if I were to use another hosting service, would I be able to use WordPress to design the website? Thank you.

I’m not sure it’s correct that Adult content is not allowed on WordPress.com.
Please read this document here: https://wordpress.com/support/mature-content/I’m sure with self-hosting everything is fair game but if your first option was to build here on WordPress.com why go there if they say they allow mature content

The other WordPress you are referring to is open-source so there are little to no restrictions over there. If your content is 10x( if there is any such thing), then that way is your best friend and you can totally use that ,

To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org and they are two different entities.
We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

That said, if you do not want to host your site with WordPress.com, there is no point in creating the site here.
As for the adult content, it depends on what exactly you are planning to blog about. We do allow adult content in general, but there are some restrictions:
