Advanced blog design

  I am new to fairly new to WP but come from a pretty good programming background and can find my way around php &sql Databases, I am running it on my site and have found my way around the basics. However I am trying to find some tutorials on designing a site with WP without making it look stereotypically a WP site. Any good links to tutorials or sites that show this type of thing. My reasoning behind this is I like the idea of wordpress, and what it can do but even with all the hundreds of templetes I have found they all look the same to me.

  I’m relatively sure you’re in the wrong forums. Have you read the sticky post at the top of the forum on the different kinds of WordPress? If you want to do advanced blog design, you want to be over at WordPress.ORG.
