  How can I prevent ads from covering up my top banner on my website? This new pull down ad restricts access to my links

  Ads are displayed on sites using the Free plan and helps cover the cost of the free features we provide (like storage space). We have some information about our ads policy here if you are interested:

  Ads on WordPress.com

  The ad at the top of your site can be hidden with the - tab if you want to move it out of view.
