I would like to know what steps I need to take to begin advertising on my blog… I want to add a link for a banner or button on my blog from The Honest Company. Is that possible with WordPress.com? If so, what steps do I need to take? Please let me know if you can rather than sending me to a link of where to find help. I read about the WordAds, but I just want to make sure if I sign up & pay to link my domain that I own that I can then participate in WordAD? Kind of confused, please help! New to Ads. Also traffic to my page is not large yet, but I am getting ready to focus on blogging more content as well as more frequently! Also, why does it say ask the community for help? Am I asking someone from WordPress or does my question go into a forum? Still confused about that, haha!

You cannot do this. Blogger-initiated advertising is against the terms of service and will get your blog suspended. The only ad program here that benefits bloggers is WordAds, and it’s only available to people with a custom domain, and there’s a weeks-long waiting list for approval.
Only the $299 pro package of upgrades comes with live chat support from paid staff, and then only during North American business hours.
