Advertising business I recommend

  I run a blog based on saving money when booking a wedding. I’m quite new at this, but I often feel myself recommending a certain business or oganisation. Is this classed as advertising and should I be contacting the business first for permission and secondly should I really be approaching them for fees?
  My plan is to recommend businesses and if people use their services via myself, then what is the opportunities here? Sorry i’m a bit confused and not sure where to start!
