After clicking "Follow", a visitor still sees me old (deleted) Twitter account

    Well, hello there! :)

I didn’t found a solution so far, so I try to describe my problem as good as possible to you:

When a visitor on my site clicks the little blue “Follow” button in the bottom right corner, he can type in his eMail adress. After that, the window enlarges a little bit and it says “You can also follow this user here” and he sees my Twitter account underneath.

So far, everything’s fine and in order.

Only problem is I deleted my old Twitter account ( @mevsevil ) and created a new one ( @GodAmongstMenE ). But somehow the visitor sees *both* of those Twitter accounts.

Is there an option to delete the old one (@mevsevil) that it doesn’t appear there? I didn’t found an option in the admin panel. I deleted my Twitter account over a year ago (it’s again in use by some other user), but it doesn’t belong here anymore.

Is there anything I can do about it? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions,

    Alexander

  • Okay, I have gotten rid of those. Can you try setting twitter back up again by connecting to it here:

    Hello rootjosh!

Thanks for your reply and your help. Now it works and only my own Twitter account appears as it should, the other one has vanished.

    Thank you very much!
