  After updating php I am unable to see the posts in homepage. The posts are there and clickable but I am unable to see them.

  You are in the wrong forum as you can’t update the PHP on the wordpress.com platform. As your site uses the open source wordpress.org, their support is at https://wordpress.org/support/
