  Hi there,

  Akismet is on by default for all sites on WordPress.com, and it is not possible to turn it off. What exactly did you do to “turn it on”?

  Akismet is WordPress.com’s built in spam filter that blocks spam from being posted in your site’s comments and contact forms.
