All blog posts from one category are disappeared.

  Dear ladies and gents,

  I’m writing you as all (5) blog posts of a specific category (norwegen) are disappeared from my site https://travelerieblog.wordpress.com.

  I have all notification mails that I have published all these posts but wp-admin is stating that there is no blog post for that category.
  I’ve looked into the trash and every other category but they are missing.

  Is there any way to check the database? I’ve read that the tags or posts table can be repaired.

  Hi there,

  What are the titles of the missing posts?

  Our logs show the site owner, travelerieblog, deleted a large number of posts from the site and deleted them from Trash in the past 24 hours. That user also deleted a number of posts in March.

  It is not possible to restore a deleted post once it has been removed from trash.

  yes, I removed some blog posts today as they have been test posts (in draft status).

  The titles have been:
  – Hei aus Norwegen!(pubished on 3rd June: https://travelerieblog.wordpress.com/2018/06/03/hei-aus-norwegen/)
  – Zelten, wandern, schwimmen und eine Fjordsafari (pubished on 8th June: https://travelerieblog.wordpress.com/2018/06/08/zelten-wandern-schwimmen-und-eine-fjordsafari/)
  – Von Gletschern, wildcamping und der einsamen Hüttenübernachtung iregendwo im nirgendwo (pubished on 13th June: https://travelerieblog.wordpress.com/2018/06/13/von-gletschern-wildcamping-und-der-einsamen-huettenuebernachtung-irgendwo-im-nirgendwo/)
  – Nächster Halt: Lofoten (pubished on 19th June: https://travelerieblog.wordpress.com/2018/06/19/naechster-halt-lofoten/)
  – Stockfisch, Strand und Wikinger (pubished on 22nd June: https://travelerieblog.wordpress.com/2018/06/22/stockfisch-strand-und-wikinger/)

  None of these posts have been deleted on purpose.

  All those posts were deleted and removed from trash by the site owner, travelerieblog, about 22 hours ago. As they have also removed the posts from Trash it is not possible to restore the deleted posts.

  If the person who owns that account did not do this, please ask them to contact us directly for help with this.

  Hey! My blogposts from my category „Norway“ on my Blog travelerieblog.wordpress.com are deleted. It wasn‘t me. Today I checked my Blog again and saw that also some posts of my category „Jakobsweg“ are deleted. Can anyone help me with that?

  Hi travelerieblog,

  Thanks for logging in. As a first step, I recommend doing the following:

  1. Change the password on your WordPress.com account.
  2. Change your email account password as a precaution.
  3. Enable two-step authentication for an extra layer of security.

  @mrdavidkovacs — enabling two step authentication is something we also recommend for Administrators because this user role has full power over the site.

  Let me know when you’ve done so and we can look into this further.

  Please also enable two-step authentication on your account. We strongly recommend you also enable it on your email account, and that you ask the other admin on your account to do the same.
