All posts not showing

  When I go into preview, even when I hit on ‘load more posts’, it doesn’t show me all of the posts that I’ve made. In fact it leaves out the first four or five that were published. Additionally, I’ve selected my very first post to be ‘stick to the top of the blog’ but it’s not showing up on the preview.
  How can I show all my posts on my page, and pin the very first one to the top?

  Which page are you previewing exactly? Could you share a link?
  Sticky posts will only appear at the top of the blog page:

  Okay, got it. I made the page in question the “posts” page. Is that correct?
  But now I run into the problem of the entire blog post being visible from the page itself. Is there a way to make just the first few lines of the blog visible? And then when you click on it, then it takes you to the actual post site itself?
