All time views in insights different from all time views in a year

  I have recently started this blog and when I check my all time views on the insights page it gives me a different number than the total views in a year. Since, my blog isn’t a year old it should be same for both the things. Can you explain the difference?

  If the difference is small and the site was created on or after 1 Jan 2015, then the difference might be due to one of the totals updating less frequently than the other.
