Allowing comments for a specific element of a page (for instance an image)

  Hello!
  I would like to allow users to add comments to a specific image within a page.
  To give you a bit more context, there are several images within the same page (not article), and I would like to make it clear at first sight than this comment is related to this image, and that comment to that image.
  Could not find the right plugin to do so…

  Hi there,

  This is not possible on WordPress.com. On WordPress.com sites comments can only be left for the post or page itself.

  If you link an image to its image attachment page, someone can click on the image and then leave a comment on that page, but comments left there won’t appear on the post or page where the image was used.

  There might be a plugin to add this functionality, but the best place to ask about that is the WordPress.org forums for the open source version of WordPress:
