Already have a domain name

    I already have a website but want to move it over to WordPress. I own the domain name sassnattidesigns.com and sassnattidesigns.com.au. What are the steps I need to take to have it moved over. I have yet to design a website through you, do I design the site first and then change over the domain and if so does my site go down until the new one is fully designed?

    We don’t currently support incoming domain transfer but an existing domain can be ‘mapped’ to your site with domain mapping:

    Domain mapping is a feature of paid plans (Personal, Premium or Business) and each plan includes a domain credit which can be used to map one domain you already own. The first step is to choose a plan:

    Once the plan is active, you can map additional domains to the same site for $13. Only one domain can be set as the primary domain — any other mapped domains on the same site will forward to this one.

    You can choose a new domain at any time. Until then, your site will use a free WordPress.com address (example.wordpress.com) :)
