  made a mistake I think with the free wordpress account – I don’t want wordpress branding on my blog and I already have the hosting on GoDaddy – I was just trying to figure out how to get more variety of templates for a blog

  Hi @gurelmel, did you just want to close the site? You’d be welcome to do that, or even just make the site private and close out any notifications. That way you could come back and use it later if you wanted to.

  Or you can make it private on the same settings page. And, to block notifications, you can go here: https://wordpress.com/me/notifications
