Hi Paul,
I see that you purchased domain mapping for the domain peakeperformance.ie. To finish the domain mapping process, you’ll need to update your domain to use the WordPress.com name servers:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
We have more details about that here: Map an Existing Domain
Your domain registrar can help you make that change, if you’re not sure how. Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

Hi Paul,
You’re very welcome! I just checked your domain at http://peakeperformance.ie/ and I see it’s pointing correctly to WordPress.com, so you’re all set with that. :)
It may take a little time for search engines like Google and Bing to catch up with the change, but we do notify them to let them know when you make changes and updates to your site. If there’s anything more I can do to help, please let me know.

Hi Paul,
I’m so glad you’re enjoying the process so far!
However, I’m not sure what you mean by “view only” — can you describe a little more about what kind of change that would make to the site? That will help me point you in the right direction.

Hi again
When the page opens (now at my .ie address.. :))
the top left hand corner there is a drop down box that allows access to the dashboard and edit functions. My question.. how can I remove this from the public access to stop someone editing my content?
Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
Ah, I see what you mean. Only you have access to those dashboard and edit functions, while you’re logged in to your WordPress.com account. Other visitors to your site won’t see those options. You can see more about that here: Admin Bar
You can also test that by opening your site in a different browser or on another computer, to see what it looks like to visitors.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that.
