alt text that doesnt work

    Hello,
    My site is not yet online.
    Do I have to do this to be able to access the alt text in my media library?
    I’m looking to add alt text to each of my photos in my media library. However, when I make the change, it is not taken into account when I click on it again. The alt does not appear after inspection in Firefox. Is it because of my chosen theme (tested with Photos and Sketch)? if so which one should I choose. I am using the free version of WP.

    When you add alt text in the media library, that’s ensuring the desired alt text will be automatically included when you add the image to future posts and pages.

    For the image on existing posts and pages, you can edit the post or page in question, then add it into the image’s block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/image-block/#image-settings
