AltoFocus theme – how to change content of hover text on featured images on homepage?

    Hi, I just made my first website. On the homepage, the featured images have hover text, it’s just not the text I want. The post title and date are displayed, instead I would like to display a description or summary. Where do I go within the theme to change this?
    Also, https://shutterclutter.wordpress.com/2018/01/19/setting-up-the-altofocus-theme/ helped alot with configuring the theme, so I thought I’d add it if anyone else was having issues with AltoFocus set up.

    Hi there,

    It’s not possible to change this, as the theme does not have a setting to allow this.

    To change this you’d have to change the theme’s PHP files and likely some JavaScript files as well. This is not possible on WordPress.com and we don’t provide help with that type of customization on the self-hosted versions of our themes.
